The Steelers (AFC North) are the defending Super Bowl champions and we all know what that means in the NFL age of parity: a resounding fall to earth in 09. But maybe we're being a bit hasty in this instance as the team is still comprised of players who flat out know how to win. 
The Bengals (AFC North) were awful last year and one imagines they can only improve in 09. They have some exceptional playmakers, but it's hard to see this team ever fulfilling its potential with a coaching staff and management that leaves a lot to be desired. 
The Browns (AFC North) are nothing if not unpredictable. Two seasons ago expectations were nil and the team reeled off 10 wins. Last season there were believers and the team went out and did nothing. This year, who knows? It certainly makes NFL betting exciting when you have Cleveland in the mix. 
The Ravens (AFC North) soared last season but ultimately could not get past hated division rival the Steelers. Still, there is plenty to build on, and they have a young QB who looks like a star in the making based on his winning attitude alone. The defense is as good as ever and Baltimore looks set for a good season.
