PokerStars.com have done it again - pushing the boundaries of what consitutes a really big poker tournament. How does $2,000,000 in cash sound? With an entry fee of $0, and the top 4000 player paid. Not too shabby. 12,000 players are expected to do battle in a Turbo NL Hold`em event that should be brutal and swift.
If you finish 4,000th you`ll walk away with $180.00 - a pretty good return since that`s all profit. If you finish 1st you win $200,000, so this is basically an incredible offer by Poker Stars and confirms that they are still the online poker room that all others aspire to be.
Registration requires 10,000 FPPs, which is to put it mildly a butt-load, but there are satellites running 24/7 on the site that require a far more manageable amount. I bubbled out of a satellite the other day after investing 800 FPPs and was gutted, but intend to try again tonight.
