March 27 - The Final Four for the NCAA Tournament this year could contain a surprise or two, and we don`t expect to see all four number #1 seeds there. We`ve liked Memphis all season long but they get no favors in this bracket. Their Sweet Sixteen assignment is tricky against Michigan State and then they have to face the winner of Stanford / Texas, which is the game of the round in our opinion.

But both of those games are on Friday. Tonight sees the imperious North Carolina tested for the first time (possibly) by a plucky Washington State outfit. They can`t score but they sure can defend. Expect the Tar Heels` streak of 100+ points per game in the Tourney to end tonight, but surely this is still the best team in the nation? North Carolina will face the winner of the Louisville / Tennessee game, which is a Mycapper.com free pick that is posted on our home page.
Other games tonight see UCLA face upstarts Western Kentucky and Xavier play West Virginia where there is a pick`em spread as online sportsbooks predict that this one will be too close to call.
Whichever team wins should have a real chance of beating UCLA, the weakest of the four top seeds. Kansas might also be vulnerable if they have to take on Wisconsin in the Elite Eight, but that is by no means guaranteed as the Badgers have an underdog mountain to climb in the form of Davidson, this year`s true Cinderella story.
So our selections for the Final Four are: North Carolina, Davidson, Texas, and Xavier. That would lead to a lot of decimated brackets in pools around the country...
