December 13 - Usually we concentrate on the English Premier League results from the weekend, but because tonight's game between frontrunners Arsenal and Manchester United is so important, it takes precedent.
Tonight (Monday, December 13), league leaders Arsenal travel to Old Trafford to face unbeaten Manchester United in what should be a hard game between two teams hungry to win the English Premier League title.
Of the 16 games Arsenal have played so far this season, they have won 10, drawn 2 and lost 4, to put them at the top of the English Premier League standings with 32 points (tied in first place with Manchester City).
Of the 15 games Manchester United has played so far this season, they've won 8 and drawn 7. So the million pound question is whether the Red Devils can beat the Gunners or at least hold them to a draw this evening?
Fans lucky enough to have tickets for tonight's game - despite the expected cold temperatures - will find out first hand, as arguably the UK's current two top teams go head to head for English Premier League supremacy.
Even though Arsenal have more overall wins than Manchester United, the Red Devils have been laid as the early line betting favorites, mainly because they have won five of their last six games at home at Old Trafford.
That said, Arsenal have won four of their last six away games, which means they will likely be less intimidated by the sea of Manchester United fans and arguably the UK's most famous football ground, than other clubs.
In terms of team lineups this evening, Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson will have high expectations in his dynamic duo of Dimitar Berbatov and Wayne Rooney, both strikers capable of causing major damage.
Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger, meanwhile, faces a big decision of whether to play top midfielder Cesc Fabregas tonight, even though his hamstrings are not 100 percent. But at least Wenger has backup in Samir Nasri.
