October 27 - The third annual eGaming Review awards for those companies that have excelled in the online gambling industry were held at the end of September in London. By all accounts it was a glittering affair celebrating the very best operators and websites. The one they all wanted to win - best online casino operator once again went to 888.com, who also won the award back at the first ceremony in 2005.

The awards are a sign of industry respect and being nominated is certainly worth crowing about, so even though 32Red had to settle for a runner-up spot they have issued a press release regarding the nomination, and who can blame them?
The Affiliate Programme of the year was sponsored by Income Access, which made sense since most of the award winners were their clients. Jackpotjoy won Bingo Operator of the Year, Unibet and Sporting Bet who both use Income Access software also took home awards, and 888.com is also now a client of the affiliate powerhouse.
