June 18 - Online poker room, PokerRoom.com, has announced one of the
biggest online NL Hold'em tournaments in history. The PokerRoom "Poker Classic"
has a guaranteed prize pool of $5 million, and the winner will receive $1
million guaranteed at the final to be played in Barcelona, Spain...
The 45 finalists will compete for the grand prize at a swank even to be held
in Barcelona between September 30 and October 1.
PokerRoom.com will cover all expenses for the finalists.

There are a number of ways to qualify:
- Multi table qualifiers are run regularly, and are run in three stages,
starting at $6+1. In the third stage, one ticket to the live final will
be awarded for each 18 entrants.
- In the Sit&Go qualifiers, there are three stages starting at $1+.10.
Winners of the $580+20 stage three tournaments go through the the live final.
The live final has has a $5000+200 buy-in and the top 45 finishers go to the
Poker Classic final in Barcelona.
