June 5 - Sportsbooks are predicting record turnover for wagering on this year's NBA Finals as the public get stuck into Lakers Celtics betting markets. The L.A. Lakers led by Kobe Bryant take on Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, and the rest of the Boston Celtics in a dream final for fans of basketball betting.

Game 1 will be played in Boston as the Celtics attempt to replicate the success of the Patriots in the NFL and the Red Sox in baseball. The line for the game opened with Boston favored by 3 to 3.5 points but money has come for the road team and the spread has now been cut to -2.5 points. Home teams have fared incredibly well during these playoffs, but perhaps that streak will end with a Lakers win tonight.
The total points market opened at 195 points but is now trading at 191.5 points at most online sportsbooks.
