September 28 - The future of gambling in general and poker in particular will be closely linked to emerging markets, and at the forefront of this potential boom will undoubtedly be Asia. The Asian Poker Classic, a $1 million guaranteed no-limit Hold'em event, will be the first professional poker tournament ever held in India.
It's a natural progression for the game of poker, which has exploded in popularity throughout Europe, Australia, and South Africa in the past few years.
