Most sportsbooks expect the Ohio State to win the BCS Championship with the latest odds favoring the Buckeyes by a touchdown. That doesn't tell the whole betting story, however. Ohio State opened up as 8 point favorites but support has come for the underdogs in this one, forcing bookies to cut the spread by a full point and moving the Gators odds in to +7 points.
There has also been plenty of betting activity for the Over/Under total points market in the Bowl game that will determine which college is crowned the BCS Champion. The total points number was originally set at 48 points but is now trading a lot lower at 45.5 points at Bodog's sportsbook.
Both teams have the pedigree to win at the highest level, and both feature head coaches with excellent Bowl records. Ohio State has the brighter individual stars but Florida probably played in a tougher conference and endured a harder schedule.
The expert football handicappers at Mycapper.com have an array of premium betting advice for tonight's big game, and as an extra bonus there is also a Free BCS Championship Pick available to anyone who registers as a member. Membership is also free of charge and takes less than a minute.
