November 22 - You may think that because AFC East rivals the Buffalo Bills and the New York
Jets both have a 5-5 record that they would be laid at pretty even odds at NFL
bookmakers, but you'd be wrong. Ahead of their NFL Week 12 matchup at MetLife
Stadium in New Jersey on Sunday, the Jets are the overwhelming -9 point
betting favorites. Money Line: Bills (+290) vs. Jets (-350). Claim your free $900 sports betting

Ironically, although the Jets are favored in the money line against the
struggling Bills, they are not without their own woes, and it won't be lost on
NFL betting fans that Sunday's game will be contested by two largely mediocre
teams, who've both squandered their fair share of opportunities this season.
Buffalo Bills on a Downward Spirall
Last time out, Buffalo suffered a humiliating 35-8 defeat at the hands of
another AFC East rival, the Miami Dolphins - who are last in the division,
incidentally - in another of a long line of poor performances that are
threatening to see the team end the NFL 2011-12 season on a losing record. Fans and sports pundits alike have described the Bills as being on a 'downward
spiral' with no end in sight. Which is sad state of affairs considering the team
kicked off the season with a superb 4-1 record, and was being touted as the
'Cinderella' of the league. However, after losing their last three games so
badly, there is little hope the Bills will make it to the ball.
Part of the reason the Bills are struggling is due to the high number of key
players they are missing because of injury, like CB Terrence McGee, WR Donald
Jones, RB Fred Jackson and WR Stevie Johnson to name a few. So the question is
do they have enough talent left in their arsenal to counter the Jets on Sunday?
The honest answer is probably not.
New York Jets Playoff Hopes Dwindling
As big as Buffalo's problems are, the New York Jets have not been without their
own demons this season. While their fans are obviously hoping they'll reach the
playoffs, for many those hopes are dwindling fast, particularly following the
team's lackluster performance against the Denver Broncos last week. In that
game, the Jets were beaten 17-13 by a team that they should have thumped.
Instead, they threw the game away. Much of the blame for their loss was laid at
the feet of QB Mark Sanchez, who succumbed to the pressure when it really
counted, and proceeded to make a complete hash of things.
But Sanchez is not the only villain in the Buffalo Bills. The team's
offensive line leaves a lot to be desired as whole. Which is sad considering how
great it's been over the past two seasons at blocking the run. Unfortunately,
its terrible at pass blocking, as it has proven in recent games. But as lacking
as the Jets may be, they should still be better than the Bills on Sunday.
Bills vs. Jets Prediction
There is little doubt that Sunday's game between the Bills and the Jets won't
be a showcase of top class football, but it will still give NFL betting fans
ample opportunity to win some cash. So for our NFL betting buck the Jets will
take the Bills down, although not without a fight.
