Last year we wrote that the Bills were a bad 7-9 team (in 2006/07) and fortunate to win 7 games. The same held true last season, even more so in fact because the Bills were bad on both sides of the ball. The offense couldn't move the ball through the air, although the running game wasn't too bad, and the defense regressed. An interesting stat was that the turnover ratio was positive, and the ability to hold onto the ball explains why they did win seven games.

We were correct in our prediction that this team was going nowhere fast last season, and this year we look for them to improve slightly. There is a QB controversy that would be easily solved by benching Losman and letting Edwards run this offense. They play in a very weak division with the exception of the Patriots, but that still means four easy games on the schedule. Last season this team went 10-6 ATS and because they are tough at home and frequently undervalued these days they could be decent betting value this time around as well.
