Bunko Bonanza is a newly released video slot from Real Time Gaming (RTG)
with a soft pastel look and feel and lots of cupcakes, donuts and and other
snacks. It's hard to discern a tangible theme that links to the game's name,
but this doesn't make much difference to the game play anyway.
Game play takes place across 20 pay lines, with 5 reels for you to spin. The
bet per line ranges from 1c to $5, so this is a game that can be played by all,
no matter the size of your bankroll. Of course, as is the case with all slots,
the higher your coin size the more you win, as the payout is linked to this.
In this game the maximum you can win is 1,000 coins in normal play, which is
multiplied during the game's free spin feature - this sees you able to win up
to 12x this amount if the multiplier hits max and you get a Wild symbol to double
the payout.
Bunko Bonanza has a wild or substitute symbol in the form of the Bell.
It replaces all other symbols and doubles the payout when you win with it, with
the exception of the scatter, which also triggers the free spins. This scatter
symbol is the Bunko Dice. If you get 3 or more of these scatters you win entry
to the free spins game, which initially gives you 21 free spins. This can be
retriggered - either another 21 free games are awarded, or another 5 - depending
on how many scatters you get again. Depending on the number that you roll on
the Bunko Dice, you can get a variety of multipliers for free spins - from 2
to 6 times.
A fun little game, with nothing amazingly outstanding, but a welcome addition
to the video slot market, if only for the novelty value and the big multiplier
potential.
