If you are a casual fan of college basketball, and only tune in once a year in March to place a bet or two, then you need to be very aware of BYU. They are certainly the best team you've never heard of and they need to be in your bracket picks. How far will they go? At least the Final Four and possibly all the way. Yep, you heard it here first.
Brigham Young graduates are certainly not expected to set the pro basketball world alight with their missionary zeal and devotion to polygamy usually steering them into different careers, but the 2011 March Madness storyline could well be all about the BYU Cougars. At the time of writing they have a 13-1 conference record and are legitimately one of the five best teams in the nation.
