2007/08 Verdict:
Last season our Carolina Panthers betting preview stated that the Panthers would improve from their .500 finish in the 06 season. Instead they continued to be mediocre despite starting well and going 4-2 to start the year. The issues began and ended at QB after the Delhomme injury. Carr was worse than anyone could have imagined and the team was forced to rely on Eisenhower's favorite quarterback, Vinny Testeverde, who tested the patience of Panthers' fans but not opposing secondaries. The team finished 7-9 thanks to a pitiful offense.
2008/09 Mycapper.com NFL Betting Prediction: UP
Once again we expect more from this team. If they stay clear of key injuries, always a big if in this sport, they should win the division this year and go to the playoffs. The schedule is really favorable, and they have an excellent head coach. They're a vanilla team that usually wins by grinding it out so go against them if they have to cover any spread bigger than -5 points but consider them in underdog spots this season as well.
