March 21 - There was all round relief this week with the news that leading
Microgaming casino operator The Casino Rewards Group, has stepped in to take
over the brands of the Tusk Investment's / Casino Action group. The group went
into voluntary liquidation last month.
Casino Rewards will take over all the assets of Casino Action, which will
exclude poker assets.
The Casino Action sites are some well known Microgaming brands such as
Golden Reef, Music Hall and Challenge Casino. The will go under Casino Rewards management, and
will be re-opened
on March 25 this year.

Players will be delighted to know that all their Casino Action player accounts will be safely
transferred over to the Casino Rewards network, so they will be able to continue
playing with their previous account balances. Casino Rewards will also honor
pending withdrawals, and bonus credits available for immediate use.
A Casino Rewards spokes person said, "We are happy to welcome the new casinos into our network. We are working
around the clock to integrate all of the casinos so the players have the best
experience possible," said a spokesman for the Australian group. "Every cent of
their account balances and bonus money will be accounted for and migrated over.
They will be able to log in to the casinos just as they had previously and can
play safe in the knowledge that the Casino Rewards logo will be on these casinos
ensuring the security, reliability, and professionalism for which we are known."
The
migration of the casinos is currently underway, but the casinos will remain
closed until the completion of the migration.
At the time of writing, the fate of the poker rooms was unknown.
The problems started for the Casino Action Group some time ago when eCOGRA
discovered inconsistencies in terms of its standards. eCOGRA never revealed the
nature of these issues, but the "Play it Safe" Seals were suspended.
What was most disturbing was that there was never any communication from the
owners of the casino, Tusk Investments, not from its licensing jurisdiction,
Vanuatu.
