2006/07 Verdict: This was a good team despite a very disappointing bottom line. Take a look at their differential numbers and you'll see that they could have easily been a 10-6 team but for defensive weakness. They remind us of the Colts a few years ago with a phenomenal passing game, superior offense in general, and an amateur night defense. If that improves even slightly...everyone knows what happened in Indy.
2007/08 Mycapper.com Prediction: UP
A lot of pundits are down on the chances of this team for 07/08 but those guys are wrong, and not for the first time. The Bengals aren't going to win the Good-guy league but this is the freakin' NFL where being a thug is a bonus, so long as you show up and remember the gameplan. The talent on offense is ready to explode this season and the Bengals will make the playoffs if Palmer stays healthy. You heard it here first.
