College Bowl betting

December 18 - The College Football betting season reaches its climax with a series of Bowl games that get underway this weekend. The games continue until January 8th, 2009 when the BCS Championship Bowl game takes place between Florida, the SEC champions, and Oaklahoma, the Big 12 Conference champion.

Leading up to that big game to determine the #1 ranked team in College Football there are numerous smaller College Bowl games that attract massive sports betting attention in the USA. We've got the latest spread betting moves that could provide you with an edge starting on Saturday.

Navy vs Wake Forest: This is the Eagle Bank Bowl, and will be played on Saturday, December 20. The money has come for Navy, who opened as 3.5 point underdogs. The current College Bowl odds for this game shows Navy +2.5 points, and the spread has moved past the key number of 3 points. Watch Navy in this one.

Fresno State vs Colorado State: This is the New Mexico Bowl, and will be played on Saturday, December 20. Fresno State opened at -4 points, but the money has come for Colorado State who have shortened in to +2.5 points according to the latest sports betting odds.

TCU vs Boise State: This is the Poinsettia Bowl, and will be played on Tuesday, December 23. Plenty of cash has come for Boise State, who have a great reputation in Bowl games thanks to that classic victory over Oaklahoma. This was a pick 'em game when it was announced but now Boise State are favored by as much as 2.5 points.

Notre Dame vs Hawaii: This is the Hawaii Bowl, and will be played on Wednesday, December 24. The sports betting move here has been against the "home" team even though Hawaii are fortunate enough to be playing in their own bowl on home turf. They opened as betitng favorites but the wiseguys are betting on Notre Dame, and the latest game line is Notre Dame -1 point.

West Virginia vs North Carolina: This is the Meineke Care Bowl, and will be played on Saturday, December 27. North Carolina opened as -1 point betting favorites, but the public are going for West Virginia, and now they are favored by 1 point. This game could go either way, and we still prefer the chances of North Carolina, in the worst-named bowl game of the year!
