Last season our Denver Broncos betting preview for 2007 got it wrong as we predicted that they would win 10+ games and make it to the playoffs. Instead Jay Cutler failed to take the next step, or any steps really, and the offense was poor. It looked good compared to the abysmal D though, which stumbled home in 28th spot overall. The Broncos were overrated throughout the season by the bookies and only covered 5 times against the spread. That's something to watch this season as money can be made opposing this team.

For some reason the betting public has never stopped thinking of the Broncos as a good team, and a very tough team to beat at home. The stats say otherwise though. They are 22-27 ATS the last 3 seasons combined and 11-14 ATS at home. Those are surprising stats and leads us to believe that the value here is to go against this team whenever they are favored. The Broncos covered ONLY TWICE as favorites in 2007. The schedule isn't easy in an improved AFC West, and money is there for the taking fading this team.
