October 8 - Sine their last 4-0 start, the United States have seen eight
presidential elections so the saying "a long time between drinks" has become a
familiar concept for Lions fans.

Cowboys has contributed to their improved NFL odds. As the old saying goes, the
NFL is not won in September, but there are good signs for the Lions.
If they go 5-0 against the Bears this Monday, entire generations of fans will
witness that record for the first time.
