October 26 - It was a good day for those Insider readers who followed our NFL free picks for Sunday. We picked the Falcons/Cowboys OVER as well as the PACKERS, and almost made it a clean sweep with the Dolphins, who were winning easily at home against the Saints until a furious 4th quarter rally by the visitors put 22 unanswered points on the scoreboard and dashed our hopes!

Tonight's game is a bitter clash in the NFC East featuring the Redskins and Eagles. Neither team looked good last week, to put it gently, and this one could go either way.
The money has poured in for the Eagles though and they are favored by anywhere from 7.5 to 9 points depending on which offshore sports book you are betting with. The total points market has traded at a low number (37 points) for much of the week.

"The Eagles and the Redskins both went out and played disastrous games last time out. They had one thing in common: ineptness at scoring. The Eagles couldn't break double digits against the Raiders while the Redskins failed to trouble the Chiefs D. Washington have a lot of problems on offense, and making a coaching swap of power usually doesn't help or instill confidence in a locker room already panicking. But Washington plays resilient defense, and the Eagles looked horrible on the road, so we're thinking that the smart play here is the UNDER so long as you're getting 34 points or higher. The current total is well above that so grab the value and bet on another low-scoring game between these bitter rivals."
