August 31 - As plans for the eighth European iGaming expedition are underway, operators, planners and anyone involved in the industry are urged to diarize the dates - September 15 - 17 - to attend one of the greatest events in the gambling world.
Last year's event attracted over 1,500 people linked to the iGaming industry, hailing from over sixty countries - showing how widespread the reputation of the expo has become.
Experts in all different fields relating to iGaming, ranging from marketing to legal, attended the event.
This year's EiG will be held in Copenhagen and will be organized by Clarion Gaming. The top sponsor of the event will be Playtech, supported by another software provider, Cryptologic. Other sponsors include several top names in the business, including Microgaming and Bodog.
For those looking for an intensive three day event that covers everything that is current and pertinent in the industry, this is the the place to be next month.
Some of the main topics under discussion include the views of some of the iGaming industry's pioneers on the future of the trade. The latest innovations in the field, as well as regulations and legal frameworks will also be under discussion.
A three track model will be incorporated in the EiG 2009 event, covering customer acquisition and retention; legal issues around the world; and marketing.
Speakers at the event are from some of the top gambling groups in the world, including William Hill, 888 and Party Gaming. In addition, groups such as eCOGRA and governmental representatives will also speak.
