Newcastle vs Man Utd

Manchester are currently leading the English Premier League standings with 69 points, six points clear of second place Arsenal. And the way they have played this season, both Tuesday's match against Newcastle and the title in general is theirs to lose. While United will be eager to rack up yet another three points, Newcastle will no doubt just be happy to prevent a complete and utter thrashing.

Having done just enough this season to stave off relegation, Newcastle will be thinking more on the season ahead, so don't expect to see the most motivated team in the world, especially hosting the mighty Red Devils. That said, United will have to pick themselves confidence-wise, after they were beaten 1-0 by fierce derby rivals Manchester City in their FA Cup showdown on the weekend.

Chelsea vs Birmingham

Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti will have his hands full motivating the Blues when they host Birmingham on Wednesday, considering how they crashed and burned against Manchester United in their UEFA Champions League quarter-final last week. Yet again, the Red Devils dominated the struggling Blues. Of course, Chelsea should have enough left in the tank to take down Birmingham.

Birmingham, who are only one position above relegation in the English Premier League, have a better than decent defense, which on a good day is capable of foiling Chelsea's attackers, especially their wet squib of a Spanish striker, Fernando Torres. So while Chelsea will start against Birmingham as the overwhelming favorites, the visitors may just pull off a coup and increase the Blues' blues.

Tottenham vs Arsenal

Of all these games, Wednesday's London derby between hosts Tottenham and Arsenal should be the most exciting, despite the fact Tottenham seem to have lost some form of late in both the English Premier League and the Champions League. That said, Arsenal also seem to have lost a little form of late, considering they have come of three consecutive draws in the English Premier League.

Which means if the Gunners have any hope of catching league leaders Manchester United before the season runs out, they have to make every game count, starting with their game against Tottenham. This shouldn't be too much of a tall order considering Arsenal are currently the second highest scoring team in league. That said, expect Birmingham to pull out all the stops on Wednesday.
