AFC South leaders the Houston Texans
(8-3) are only one victory ahead of NFC South second place team the
Atlanta Falcons (7-4), which is why so many betting fans and oddsmakers
alike consider their Sunday matchup an NFL key game. But despite the
fact the Texans will be hosting on the weekend and are a win ahead of
their NFC South rivals, NFL oddsmakers have still laid the Falcons as
the slight -1 point favorites and the reason is plain to see - Houston
will have to make do without exemplary QB Matt Leinart who suffered a
broken collarbone last time out. Earlier in the season the Texans also
lost superb starting QB Matt Leinart to a foot injury. So the big
betting question is without another top-rated QB to call on, who will
lead their offense Sunday against the Falcons who boast their own top QB
in Matt Ryan?
