March 29 - The NCAA men's basketball tournament has reached the critical Final Four juncture and fans are
already betting big as to which schools will make it all the way to the coveted Championship game. BetUS has posted odds for both games as Duke takes on West Virginia while Butler clashes against Michigan State.
Odds makers at
BetUS
have priced up Butler as -1.5 point favorites against the Spartans. This will surprise many casual fans as Michigan State is the more vaunted program, while Butler plays in a far smaller conference. But the Bulldogs were higher ranked in all national polls coming in to the tourney, and they could prove too good for State.
The AP Top 25 poll had Butler at #11 and Michigan State at #13 prior to the tournament. One thing is certain. Whichever of these two schools prevails will then find themselves big betting underdogs in the final.
The other Final Four confrontation could be a classic as Duke, ranked #3 before the Big Dance, takes on West Virginia, ranked #5. There should be little to choose between the two, although Duke's odds for the game are -3 points. The value bet could be on the Mountaineers who will be undervalued because most public money will go on Duke. Watch out for West Virginia here!
There are plenty more odds and specialist betting markets including many different team and player props for the remaining three March
Madness games, all to be found at
BetUS Sportsbook.
