The first semifinal will see #2 seed Georgetown take on #1 seed Ohio State, yet the #2 seed has been installed as favorites according to the latest spreads at various online sportsbooks. Ohio State opened as 1 point favorites but the money has come for the Hoyas, and they are now favored by 1 point. Most experts agree that this game could go either way on the day, with the teams very evenly matched.
There has been a lot of betting activity on the Over/Under total points market. The number opened at 126 but steady support for the Over has seen that total move as high as 130 combined points.
The second semifinal pits another #2 seed against a #1 seed but in this case the latter is the betting favorite as well. Florida look to repeat as NCAA tournament winners - the first program to do so since Duke, but they must first beat the team they outclassed in last year's final, UCLA.
The Bruins are 3 point dogs and most of the money is coming for the Gators to cover. The total points number for this one is also 130 points.
Both games will be nationally televised on CBS starting at 6:00 PM EST on Saturday, March 31.
