September 28 - Online Gambling Group
Nine.com
has offered disgraced supermodel Kate Moss a lifeline. Just days after she was
exposed for snorting powdered substances, the aggressive sportsbook and online
casino marketer offered her a new lease of life through a $5 million endorsement
deal. She was exposed through photographs showing her doing the lines, which
will probably dent her incredible career if not destroy it.
Most major designers have exercised their exist clauses, but the ever
adventurous Nine.com proposed a deal that will include paying for rehab at a
facility of her choice.
Nine.com is a relatively new kid on the block, looking to cover a full range
of online gambling services, from gambling to sports to music. They obviously
feel that Ms. Moss fits the image they wish to project (Ed: post-rehab, I
would assume).
A Nine spokesperson commented: "We believe a second chance is fair. The
fashion people are hypocrites and we hope to find a better environment for MS
Moss. They want people to be thin as sticks but they are "appalled" by extreme
means of achieving that".
The site will look to Ms Moss as their "Super" Spokesperson.
Ed: Every day I think I've heard it all. Every day I am proven wrong.
