December 28 - An online poker player at Party Poker alleges that his
cat brought him the luck needed to walk away with a new Ferrari after winning a tournament.
He wasn't doing all that well, until his cat sat in his lap...
Bruce Bartfield, the lucky player, needs no convincing that Sadie, his feline
friend, changed his luck to enable him to win the monster prize: a Ferrari F430
Coupe.
"Things weren't going too well. Then my cat, Sadie, came and sat in my lap
and my luck instantly changed" the player from Maryland said. Incidentally, he
owns a pet store.
Party Poker says this was another win for the "small guy".
"This shows how anybody can win an awesome prize. Bruce and his cat will join
us for our March Cruise and they will have a shot at $5 million this time" a
spokes person said."
Moral of the story: Get a cat!
