June 16 - Lakers vs. Celtics NBA Finals betting odds are being offered up at Celtics -4. The Lakers are +270 underdogs to win the series and be crowned the 2008 NBA Champions, which will pay $270 for every $100 wagered.

The Celtics have a golden chance to win their 17th title when they host the Lakers at The New Garden this Tuesday for Game 6 on the Finals.

After blowing a huge lead in Game 4, the Lakers hung on for a 103-98 win at home, even though they blew a 19-point. Kobe Bryant top scored with 25 points, while Lamar Odom and Pau Gasol scored 20 points and 11 rebounds, and 19 points and 13 boards respectively. With big Boston center Kendrick Perkins' injury, Odom and Gasol were able to take advantage in the paint.

But the real star performance came from Paul Pierce who almost single handedly did the job for the Celtics. He scored 38 points and looked after Bryant like a kid brother. One problem for Boston was that Ray Allen only managed 16 points and shot a meager 4-for-13. More alarming even was Rajon Rondo's 1-for-7 and only 3 points. The Lakers managed to get Kevin Garnett into a lot of foul trouble early which made life even more difficult for the Celtics.

Intertops have given the Celtics have a 4-point spread at home and there is no doubt that they are a different team at home. The problem for the Lakers could be their bench that has no performed away from home all year.
