OGI: When did you first start taking wagers?

Robert: We began with Lock Poker just over two years ago and building on that momentum, launched Lock Casino in the fall of 2009.

OGI: Where is your casino licensed and why did you choose this jurisdiction?

Robert: We are licensed in Curacao.

OGI: Many new players have concerns about fair gaming and security. What would you say to them to put their fears to rest?

Robert: The casino itself is audited by a 3rd party auditing service to ensure the games are fair. All player information is kept under strictest confidence. On the flip side of this, we also add measures to reduce the impact of fraud on the player side as well.

OGI: Please give us a short overview of the number of games you support with an indication of your most popular games.

Robert: We offer over 200 games in the Windows download platform, and over 80 games in Mac download as well as instant-play. Our most popular games include Paydirt, Ronin, and Greenlight.

OGI: How much has your biggest winner ever won and playing which game?

Robert: $11,850; the player won it on Paydirt.

OGI: Please tell us a little about your comps program.

Robert: Our comps program is currently given to all players. For each comp earned you wager $5. We will be launching a VIP program on March 15th. This will have several tiers. It will go from player support, exclusive items, trips and luxury items. Our goal is to provide anything that adds to a person’s life and takes it to a higher level of experience. As we introduce the special merchandise you will be able to use comp points to redeem for laptops and other luxury items. We are also partnering with some innovative brands to develop exclusive items that cannot even be bought in stores. The Lock brand is about a superior experience and life changing moments.

OGI: Are you planning any new promotions in the near future?

Robert: We currently offer a different promotion for many days of the week and are constantly adding new and exciting promotions in our lobby. We also create new promotions based on player feedback and player personalities. We strive to customize and improve the player experience at Lock Casino.

OGI: Do you see any major changes in the online casino industry in the foreseeable future and what is your overall outlook for the industry?

Robert: One thing about the gaming industry is that it is always evolving at a very fast pace and we must continue to be agile, proactive and quick to adjust as changes take place. Rather than try to foresee the next change and follow we prefer to innovate and lead in the revolutionizing of the industry. Lock is structured in such a way that we can move quickly to stay ahead of the curve and build our player experience by embracing these changes. We believe that the industry has a very bright future and will be led by those companies which can continue to adapt and always remember to keep their players first.

OGI: Why should a player choose your online casino above the many others out there?

Robert: Lock Casino is genuinely unique. We are very innovative – we developed a Mac download casino (the only one available on RTG) in-house so our Mac friends can have the same download option as our PC friends. We developed a more user friendly cashier/promo area. We have some of the best customer service staff in the industry and our focus is on the player experience. Everything we do begins with the player in mind and builds from there.

OGI: Is there anything else you would like to tell us about your casino?

Robert: Lock Casino's core group of executives are all gaming industry veterans with 6-10 years of experience in online gaming. That’s a great start but there is so much more. All the innovation and the in-house developments are based on our knowledge, experience and from the feedback and suggestions of our players. We draw on our past successes to constantly improve the gaming experience while keeping it fun and exciting!
