Rake:
The rake is standard, at 5%, with a maximum of $1 at lower limit tables,
and $3 at the higher limit games. A welcome concession is that there is
no rake at the micro-limit tables.
Traffic:
Mansion Poker is a relatively new poker room, so traffic is still quite
low - although there are always games available - mostly at the lower
limit tables. Tournament traffic peaks at around a thousand players.
Software And Features:
The software has been developed specifically for Mansion Poker`s needs
and it is excellent. It is well designed and player needs have been anticipated
successfully. The graphics are good, without ever distracting from the
game play. The Lobby has a very good informational display and allows
everything to be seen at a single glance. Game speed is good, although
as player volume increases it remains to be seen how well the software
will cope. So far however, it is certainly some of the best poker software
available.
Supported Games And Limits:
Hold`em, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, 7-Card Stud and 7-Card Stud Hi/Lo are
all offered. Different betting stakes are available for Fixed Limit: 50c/$1
to $10/$20, and No Limit: 10c/20c to $200/$400.
Deposit And Withdrawal Options:
Deposit options: NETeller, Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Solo, Visa Delta,
Visa Electron, FirePay, EcoCard, Moneybookers, Nexum-ACH, money transfer,
international money order, check
Withdrawals: NETeller, FirePay, EcoCard, Moneybookers, money
transfer, bank transfer, check, Visa & Mastercard (selected countries
only).
Competition:
The vast majority of players are very loose, with an excellent fish
to shark ratio. This is because the poker room is so new. Given that it
is a spin-off of a very successful casino, most players are still gamblers
rather than poker players.
Player Services:
Support is of a high standard. Telephonic support is offered, and
the Live Chat is a rare and very welcome support channel as well.
Downsides:
Lack of traffic at the higher limit tables
Not many promotions on offer
