March 17 - The 2006 NCAA Tournament started yesterday and in true March Madness fashion there were a couple of surprise results, especially if you were betting on the games. But Mycapper.com, a leading online handicapping service that is giving away free March Madness picks crushed the sportsbooks with their expert tips.
One of their expert handicappers, MasterBets, won six out of seven games against the spread yesterday, which takes some doing. They picked Texas A&M to beat Syracuse, which was a minor upset as Syracuse (an overrated team fortunate to make it to the NCAA Tournament at all) were slightly favored in the betting lines. They followed that up by picking Xavier to cover the spread against Gonzaga, Alabama to beat Marquette, and also enjoyed blowout wins with Washington (over Utah State), Wichita State (over Seton Hall), and Illinois (over another school that wasn't good enough to be in the Big Dance, Air Force).
Mycapper.com has free picks for Friday's games as well. Big Al McMordie is giving away the winner of the Wisconsin / Arizona tilt, while Matt Fargo - who cashed in his free March Madness pick yesterday - has a free pick for the game between Cal and North Carolina State.
You can join Mycapper.com at no charge and then access all their free picks for March Madness as well as the NIT and NBA games.
Online sportsbooks report tremendous betting activity on NCAA Tournament games yesterday and with three of the four top seeds in action today they expect even more wagers today.
