Microgaming Online Casinos To Block New American Accounts - 11-06-08

November 6 - The online gambling industry was rocked today by the news that Microgaming operators will no longer accept new players from the United States as of Monday, November 10, 2008.

What started as a rumor on a message board this morning was quickly conformed as emails from the major Microgaming operators started coming in.

First The Jackpot Factory, then The River Belle / Carmen Media Group, then the Fortune Lounge Group, Villento Brands, The Star Partner / Crazy Vegas Group. At the time of writing, correspondence has been received from just about all the Microgaming Operators, and it is pretty much the same message:

As of November 10, they will no longer accept any NEW players who are residents of the United States of America.

The good news is that players who have signed up BEFORE Monday November 10 will be able to continue playing.

We suggest that you act fast and sign up at a few Microgaming Casinos. This means that as of Monday you will still be able to play using these accounts, indefinitely.

If you are looking for Microgaming Casino, here are our reviews of some of the major operators and their casinos:

Also visit our Microgaming Casino Reviews for a more complete list and Microgaming Casino Bonuses.

Needless to say there are still many other (non-Microgaming) casinos that will continue to welcome players from the USA - check out our USA online casinos section.

According to our sources, most operators have taken this decision in the light of payment processing difficulties and the recent court ruling in Kentucky forcing many of them to block out Kentucky in addition to the 13 states already blocked.

This may be your last chance to sign up at a Microgaming casino so we suggest you sign up at a few of their casinos so that you are still be able to enjoy their award winning games and the excellent service provided by many of their operators.

As always, we will keep our visitors up to speed wit the latest developments.
