Microgaming Progressive Network Reaches New Milestone - 09-06-08

September 6 - Microgaming's Progressive Jackpot Network has reached new heights as its payout total rocketed past the $250m mark this week. The network - launched five years ago has now paid out the equivalent of $137,000 per day since launch and is currently sitting at a massive $6 million plus.

The most recent big payout came at the end of last month when a Finnish player became an instant millionaire after placing a $0.50 bet on the Mega-Moolah Progressive Slot Machine and walking away with a staggering $5.5 million.

The network offers 21 progressive jackpot games and has paid out over 6,500 winners to date. Thirteen players have become instant millionaires since 2003, more than any other of its kind.
