May 07- The first round of the NBA playoffs produced arguably the biggest pro basketball betting upset of all time, and one of the great sports betting shocks in recent memory, when the Warriors brushed aside the Mavericks. The Heat are gone as well, swept to the curb, but never fear we have second round series picks.

The giantkilling Warriors move on to face the Jazz. Home court advantage should be the key factor in this series, and Golden State will not match up as well against Utah as they did in the Dallas series. Everything was perfectly aligned for the Warriors in Round 1, but this will be different and we expect the Jazz to win in 7 games.
The Cavaliers have to deal with the Nets, who used their experience to beat the more talented Raptors in Round 1. Cleveland have yet to be extended in the playoffs and jumped out to a 1-0 lead in this series. This could end in an upset, however, as the Cavs have depth issues and might not handle adversity very well. We'll pick the Nets to surprise in 7 games.
The other Eastern Conference matchup should produce fascinating playoff basketball as the Pistons battle the Bulls. Detroit gets it done at this point of the season, and we see this series unfolding in the same way as that Nets/Raptors series in Round 1. The Pistons win it in 6 games.
Finally we have the series that is the true NBA Final in the sense that the two best teams in the league are playing one another. The Spurs and the Suns is tough to handicap. We would have picked the Suns but now they've lost home-court advantage and the Spurs give you nothing. We picks the Spurs in 6 games.
