Neteller Pays Back Millions To US Online Gambling Customers - 08-16-07

August 16 - After months of nervous waiting, hundreds of thousands of Neteller customers finally were able to retrieve their frozen funds. Neteller reported this week that since the DOJ released Neteller's frozen reserves, their US customer have so far withdrawn over $70 million with withdra2wals still pending...

The embattled online payment processing company saw some of its funds being frozen after the arrest of two of its founding directors closely after thee signing into law of the notorious online gambling prohibition act in the United States. Hundreds of thousands of angry customers were made to wait for months and many had written off the chance of ever seeing their cash again.

NETeller and US Attorney's Office struck a deal a month ago that they would honor customer accounts and allow them to withdraw their moneys. Over 250,000 US accounts were reported to have money in them.

Neteller was charged with numerous misdemeanors including money laundering and racketeering.

A few of our regular visitors reported that the process was smooth and expressed their relief.

In the meantime Neteller's business continues in the rest of the world and it is in our opinion still the best way to make online gambling deposits and withdrawals outside of the United States.
