Neteller have committed to paying money back to US players who had their
accounts frozen in January after the arrest of two founding directors.
Processing of
payments is expected to commence by the end of July.
The Neteller directors, Lefebvre and Lawrence, pleased guilty earlier this
month and
admitted that they had knowingly violated US law by moving funds for online gambling
transactions . Their sentenced are to be handed down soon and are expected to be
a maximum
of five years.
The deal with the US government is that all charges will be dropped if
NEteller fulfills all of its obligations including these payments and the
handover of information.
US based account holders will be happy to know that they should have their
money so, as many of them had probably written off ever seeing it again.
