NFL Betting Triple Header On Thanksgiving - 11-25-09
November 25 - There is a mouthwatering triple header in the NFL on Thanksgiving Thursday that should take everyone's mind off turkey and stuffing in order to focus on the most important sides, namely the sides that cover the spread!
The first of the three games will see an NFC North clash between the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions. Bookies are expecting a huge Packers win. Green Bay are currently favored by as many as 12 points, even though the Lions are coming off a big win last time out against the worst team in football, the Browns.
The second game sees another no-hoper team in the Oakland Raiders visiting the overrated Dallas Cowboys, who have managed seven wins this season but impressed very few experts. Oakland somehow won on Sunday against a good Bengals team but you can get any price you like about them winning this one. They are on the road in Dallas and the money line suggests a walk in the park for the Cowboys.
The last game of the day pits the New York Giants against the Denver Broncos. Both teams have been in the doldrums in recent weeks, but bookmakers have gone for the Giants here as they are favored by a TD, even though they are on the road. We see a lot of betting value in taking the points here and betting on Denver to cover the spread of 7 points.
