NFL Football Betting Preview for Week 12 Action - 11-20-08

November 20 - When you consider NFL betting you need to know the following this season: The Titans and Giants are both excellent, far and away the two best teams in Pro football; and all teams that play out West (in both the AFC and NFC) are awful, with the amazing exception of the Cardinals.

Here are the marquee NFL betting matchups for Week 12. All the odds come to us courtesy of Sportsbook.com, one of the highest rated offshore sportsbooks in the world.

Giants vs Cardinals

The Giants are 3-point favorites on the road against the Cardinals, but be careful as Arizona are undefeated at home this season. New York has taken six of their last ten against the Cardinals, but Arizona has some big home wins this season against the Cowboys and the Bills (in a blowout). A highly ranked defense meets a highly ranked offense.

Bengals vs Steelers

The Steelers are massive 10.5-point home favorites against the Bengals, who have dropped eight of their last ten against their division rivals, and have already been been mauled by Big Ben and the Steelers once this season. They will have revenge, but they also have little talent and less discipline, so be careful siding with the big dog on Thursday night.

Colts vs Chargers

The Colts will also have revenge on their minds after losing in the playoffs last season to San Diego, who are 2.5-point home favorites in this contest and have won six of their last ten against Indianapolis. Both teams are tough to figure out this season, but one feels that the Colts have more upside down the home stretch.

Packers vs Saints

Green Bay has the edge in this match up historically, winning 6 of the last 10 meetings. The Packers are also playing well right now following a huge home win over division rival Bears last Sunday. But the Saints have the NFL's top ranked offense, and at home they can be very tough to beat. New Orleans is favored by 2.5 points.
