2006/07 Record: 2-14
2006/07 Verdict: The Raiders found their offensive coordinator running a B&B and they should have left him there because it showed. This was one of the worst offenses ever to jog onto an NFL field, setting new standards for futility and ranking a distance behind the other 31 teams. The defense was excellent, but was on the field all the time, and was the only bright spot.
2007/08 Mycapper.com Prediction: UP
It doesn't take a mastermind to predict that the Raiders will improve from last year's 2-14 effort, at least in terms of SU wins. But they might not win more than 5 games with an offense that still looks anemic and a very tough schedule facing them. Lane Kiffin can change the culture that has overtaken this franchise - committing a plethora of stupid penalties and basically giving games away, and if he can raise the offense from "unwatchable" to plain mediocre this could be a decent team. You can make money with the Raiders, by betting against them when they travel on the road this season to hostile venues at Miami, Denver, Kansas City, and San Diego.
