Account holders will now be able to deposit pounds and euros using Ukash. Ladbrokes made the announcement in the light of continued concerns over credit and debit card payments.

Both companies highlighted the benefits of flexible payment techniques, particularly emphasizing continued consumer nervousness surrounding online debit and credit card payments.

A spokes person from Ladbrokes.com, said: "We are excited at the prospect of accepting Ukash as this will address concerns over security and fees."
