December 23 - Online casino Slotland.com has started construction of
the school in Malawi for which it has been raising funds. The project is part of
the online casino's "New Chance for a New Generation" initiative. The
school is to be built in a highly impoverished area which has seen little or
no aid from any international organizations...
"Online casino gamblers know what a little bit of luck can do for them" a
Slotland.com spokes person said. "We should remember how fortunate we are and
the difference we can make in others' lives".
The project has the support from local tribal leaders - who donated
land for the school and fields to grow food for the kids.
