March 20 - Golden Palace online casino has steered away from purchasing
religious symbols for a change, but have nonetheless made another bizarre
purchase after it won an auction for a ceramic bowl which was decorated by
comedian Richard Pryor...
Not quite as bizarre as the Virgin Mary sandwich, the Jesus image on a shower
wall or the Pope's car, the bowl will make a nice addition to their collection.
Golden Palace won the auction for over $7,000. The bowl has an image of Pryor
and a slogan that reads "Little Black Man in Big White World".
A Golden Palace spokes person said, 'We are delighted with this acquisition
and it will take a prime spot in our impressive collection. It will be a tribute
to one of the world's bets loved comedians."'
The bowl was donated by Pryor to the Humane Society shortly before his death.
The society decided to sell the bowl to raise funds.
