December 27 - Speculation is growing on what the position of British
online casino gambling group Coral Eurobet will be, now that the Ongame Poker
network has been acquired by Australian online sports betting group Bet and
Win...
Coral Eurobet joined the Ongame network when Party Gaming distanced itself
from its "poker skins" earlier this year. It now remains to be seen whether
Coral will indeed stay with Ongame. Coral Eurobet and Bet and Win are major
competitors in Europe, so speculation is rife how Coral will react.
The logical conclusion is that they will leave the network because of their
rivalry with Bet and Win. For Bet and Win, the ownership of the Ongame software
and Network will be a differentiator, so it remains to be seen how they will
treat current network partners. Not a happy marriage. Bet and Win are certainly
not going to be comfortable with its online sports betting competitors sharing
its poker resources.
