If previous Star Wars opening weekends are anything to go by, punters have their work cut out for them. For instance, the previous Star Wars film to be released, Attack of the Clones, raked in just over $80 million in its opening weekend. However, the record is still held by the Spider Man 1, which grossed almost $115 million three years ago.
