August 4 - John Anderson, the founder and CEO of Cassava
Enterprises that owns
888.com online casino and
Pacific Poker, looks set to be in the money in a big way. If
reports have it correct, Anderson is set to make $60 million when
Cassava lists on the London Stock Exchange next month. The news follow
shortly after the
PartyGaming board cashed in big time.
The initial public offering of Cassava Enterprises is expected to be
worth over US$1.5 billion, and gross earnings are estimated at US$670
million. HSBC have been appointed as Cassava's advisors and will hope
that this listing generates as much interest as the PartyGaming listing
did.
