October 19 - If online gambling group Party Gaming's intention was to
hurt their competitors when they announced that sites like Empire Poker's
players were being banned to play on their new online poker platform, it seems
to be working. Empire Online, the owner of Empire Poker issued a profit
warning today...
Empire Online has adjusted their December 2005 projected profits to 10% less
than initially forecast. This is due to drops in profits from
EmpirePoker.com.
