Assurance), an independent online casino gambling and online poker standards
authority and player protection body, has announced the appointment of a new
director to its board...
Anders Lantz has joined the eCOGRA board of directors. Lantz is currently the
Chief Security Officer at online poker and casino solution provider Ongame
e-Solutions AB in Sweden, one of the companies that are very involved in the
eCOGRA initiative. Ongame has a reputation for quality gambling solutions
through its poker and casino software, and powers one of the world's largest
online poker rooms, PokerRoom.com.
Lantz is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and has years of
management experience in IT auditing, governance, compliance testing and
security; financial control and system development and security. Prior to
joining Ongame, Lantz was employed by a major international consulting firm, as
well as a major auditing firm.
Earlier this year, Ongame was acquired by betandwin, the Austrian listed
betting company and a leading provider of online gambling entertainment.
"Anders brings extensive experience to the board in the areas of security and
auditing, a key area of the board's responsibilities," said Andrew Beveridge,
eCOGRA CEO.
After his appointment, Lantz said "Security and fairness are critical to
player, and it is vital for us to display our ability to ensure this. eCOGRA's
standards are of crucial importance to the industry, and with my experience I
look to make a positive contribution to the development of secure and efficient
