February 11 - Rumors have it that Excapsa, the company that powers
Ultimate Bet online poker room, is seeking a London listing this year. The
company is apparently looking to raise £75m on the Alternative Investment Market
(AIM)...
The rumor started last year and was further fuelled by a visit to London by
Jim Ryan, Excapsa CEO.
Early reports are that institutional response was good, and that the offers
will be three times over subscribed.
Rumors first started in September 2005 when the company appointed a corporate
advisor.
Excapsa provides software to and manages Ultimate Bet poker room, after it
bought the original software company. The intellectual property of Ultimate Bet
is still owned by a third party.
