In a statement released by Tribeca, they said that they had spent significant
time assessing the implications of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement
Act. The company will now focus on non-US markets, and based on advice received
they have taken this decision.
A Tribeca Tables spokes person said: "We are now initiating this policy and
will work closely with our customers to ensure as little harm as possible to
their overall business."
The company says that it has taken a considerable amount of time assessing
the situation but felt that this was the only way forward for the company.
The two largest US-facing Tribeca licensees are
Doyle's Room and
Golden Palace.
The company is expected to make further announcements in due course.
