Poker Stars Sunday Million
Pokerstars.com
broke their own record this past Sunday for the single biggest online tournament in history
with a huge
10,894 players. The prize pool was consequently also the biggest ever at all of
$2.4 million. The previous record was set at Pokerstars in March this year at 10,508 players.
The prize pool had $250,000 added to the pool as a celebration of the site
dealing its 10-billionth hand on Saturday.
The record setting tournament took over 11 hours and the winner from New
Jersey took home $187,000.
Full Tilt FTOPS Tournament
Full Tilt Poker has announced a winner in its FTOPS (Full Tilt Online Poker Series)
Main Event, of $336,217
The field had a huge 3,798 players. This was the fourth FTOPS main event. The
total prize pool was over $6 million.
Ultimate Bet Sunday Record
The third record of the weekend was set at
Ultimate Bet in its Sunday $100,000 guaranteed tournaments, when 1,010
players signed on.
